It’s been a dream of mine for over 9 years to open a coffee shop that caters not just for adults but for children too.
At The Play Cafe any adults caring for children can enjoy some food and drink without the worry of the children getting under yours or others feet!
Breakfast, Lunch & Kids Meals
Come on down and enjoy a stress free hour or two
With a large secure gated off play area with plenty of toys, dress up or role play the children can play while you enjoy me time.
We also offer child friendly films or shows all day everyday
There is a games machine with retro games on for older children or your own inner child.
Colouring is also available for the children to do which we are happy to display if they would like us to on our counter
Remember we cater for all you don’t need to have children with you. We are a coffee shop with delicious food and drinks for all ages
Myself, husband and 2 year old daughter came and visited the play cafe this morning. We had a lovely welcoming from the front of house team and the cook. Very friendly and helpful, it was our first time visiting. The play area is a great size and my daughter enjoyed exploring. The great thing is the play area had NO additional cost unlike others I've been too. The food and drink is well priced and portion sizes are great. Our food was really tasty, no complaints. We spent a couple of hours there and didn't feel that we had rush. The changing area was equipped with wipes and nappy sacks which is a lovely touch.

Really friendly had a lovely welcome as soon as we came through the door. The play area is great for kids my little girl loved it. And safe with fenced in area and gate made me feel comfortable as a parent. Colouring on the table with crayons great touch for entertaining. The staff there take a great interest in all the kids that come through the door Willow didn't want to leave. Good selection of food and drinks. We had snacks which came out nice a quickly spot on . Will definitely be coming back here soon thank you.

What a lovely experience for the children and for us! The kids had a great time playing whilst we enjoyed some tasty food and a coffee. The coffee is a stand out and was so much better than high street coffee shops, spoke to the owners ( who are such friendly and welcoming people) and they told me about where they got the coffee and why they picked it. Will definitely be coming back!
